Warehouse equipment. The kit that works around the racking.

Handling and access equipment: drum handlers, ladders and steps, hydraulic stackers, sack trucks and trolleys, platform trucks, bin trolleys and lockers. Supplied alongside a storage project so it fits the layout, or standalone through the online store.

Warehouse equipment by category.

Each category links to the matching department of the online store, where stock lines are priced and ready to order. Links open in a new tab.

Lockers in matched brand colours and mixed lock types are a product line of their own: see staff lockers and storage solutions.

Specified with the storage, not after it.

Equipment bought after the racking goes in is often the wrong size for it: steps that stop a level short, a stacker that cannot turn in the aisle, a platform truck that clips the end frames every trip. When equipment is specified at the same time as the layout, the aisle widths, shelf heights and turning space are drawn around the kit that will use them.

Tell us what handling equipment you already run at the free site survey, and what you plan to add, and it goes on the drawing.

  • Step heights matched to the top hand picked level of shelving and longspan
  • Stacker lift heights matched to the beam levels they serve
  • Aisle and turning widths drawn for trucks and trolleys, not just forklifts
  • Protection at aisle ends and corners where trolleys and pallet trucks strike
  • Bin trolleys sized to the small parts systems they carry

Equipment and racking safety.

Handling equipment is work equipment, and so is the racking it works around. Most racking damage is done at low level by the trucks and trolleys that pass it every day.

Warehouse equipment questions.

Handling and access equipment: drum handlers, ladders and steps, hydraulic stackers, sack trucks and trolleys, platform trucks, bin trolleys and lockers, plus safety, workshop and office equipment. Stock lines are priced and ready to order in the online store across eight departments.

Yes. Handling and access equipment is often specified alongside new racking, shelving or a mezzanine, so the steps suit the shelf heights, the trucks suit the aisle widths and everything arrives with the installation. It can equally be bought standalone through the online store.

A hydraulic stacker lifts pallets to lower racking levels and onto benches and vehicles without a counterbalance truck or a licensed driver for a forklift. It suits light, occasional pallet handling in smaller stores. For regular movements at height or across a large building, a forklift or reach truck is the right tool, and the racking layout should be drawn around it.

Choose by the height of the highest level you hand pick from and how often. Mobile steps with handrails and a platform suit regular picking from upper shelving levels; ladders suit occasional access. Never climb racking or shelving, and keep steps sized so nobody overreaches from them.

Yes. Pallet trucks, stackers and trolleys strike upright bases and end frames, especially at aisle ends and tight turns. Match equipment to aisle widths, fit protection where strikes happen and include equipment routes in the annual racking inspection.

Stock lines ordered from the online store ship directly. Equipment specified with a storage project is delivered with the installation, so lead times follow the project, typically 4 to 8 weeks for racking and shelving.
